Lil Wayne Sues Quincy Jones’ Son Over Music Used In a Documentary

Lil Wayne filed a lawsuit against Quincy Jones’ son Quincy Jones III and other producers who used several songs without permission in a documentary about Lil Wayne ‘The Carter.’

Among the songs used, hits like “Lollipop,” “Stuntin’ Like My Daddy,” “Pussy Monster,” “Let the Beat Build,” “La La,” “Mr. Carter,” “A Milli,” and “Dontgetit,” off his multi-platinum album “Tha Carter III.”

In the lawsuit Lil Wayne asks for unspecified damages and an order prohibiting the producers from using his music.
