Arrest Made In Deadly Club Shooting That Left 3 Dead & 2 Injured
A 24-year-old man named Feanyichi Uvukansi is charged with capital murder in connection with a shooting that killed 3 people and injured 2 others including Trae Tha Truth outside a Houston club. Police are still looking for other suspects.
Uvukansi’s criminal history includes marijuana possession, criminal mischief, a trespass charge and felony assault of a public servant. He served 3 years in prison and was released last September.
Police said that Coy Thompson who was killed, also known as “Poppa C,” was the intended target at the club.
Coy Thompson received threats after becoming involved in a domestic dispute and was also involved in a shooting on November 25th at another club that killed Dominic Levar Brown, his uncle. Brown, whose stage name was Money Clip D. Brown, was reportedly Trae’s top assistant.
