Bronx Teen Stabbed In Face During Subway Fight Over iPhone

Update: Two suspects have been arrested for stabbing of the teen.

A 19-year-old Bronx teen was stabbed repeatedly during a subway fight on a 4 Train over an iPhone early this morning. According to police, the incident happened at the Fordham train station just after 4 a.m. today. The victim is currently in critical but stable condition at St. Barnabas hospital after suffering multiple stab wounds in the face and body during the scuffle.

According to the Post, the victim and a friend had fallen asleep on a downtown 4 train; when they awoke, the victim realized his friend’s iPhone had been stolen and his pocket had been slashed. The teen spotted a man who he thought looked suspicious, and the two started fighting on the subway. When they arrived at Fordham, the fight spilled onto the platform; at some point, the suspect stabbed the teen multiple times. No arrests have been made at this time.
